MDF Bird feeder.

For outdoor use, mdf is a delicate material to preserve properly.

In the case of outdoor use, it is important to seal mdf with a primer, gesso or varnish, apply at least 2 to 3 layers of this, so that no spot of the mdf remains reworked. Moisture could then still adversely affect the mdf. And never count on eternal use, a few years outdoors is already quite a lot.
